ABC Family’s ambitious slate of original programming includes the award-winning “The Secret Life of the American Teenager,” basic cable’s No. 2 scripted series in 3Q 2011 in Women 18-34 and Females 12-34.

Critically acclaimed “Pretty Little Liars,” which launched in June 2010 as ABC Family’s best series premiere at the time among Adults/Women 18-34 and Viewers/Females 12-34, was 3Q 2011’s No. 1 scripted basic cable series in Women 18-34 and Females 12-34.

ABC Family’s newest series “Switched at Birth” launched as the network’s No. 1 series debut of all time in June 2011 in Total Viewers, Adults 18-34, Women 18-34, Adults 18-49 and Women 18-49, and was the No. 3 scripted basic cable series of 3Q11 in core female demos, behind “Pretty Little Liars” and “The Secret Life of the American Teenager.

“Melissa & Joey” is ABC Family’s comedy powerhouse and ranks as cable's No. 1 program on Wednesdays at 8 o'clock in key demographics including Women 18-34, Women 18-49 and Females 12-34.

ABC Family original series also include “The Lying Game,” which has ranked No. 1 in its time period across all cable during the summer in Females 12-34, and fan favorite “Make It or Break It.”

In January 2012, ABC Family delves into the world of fashion with “Jane By Design,” a one-hour scripted series starring newcomer Erica Dasher and Andie MacDowell.

Branded Holidays:
ABC Family owns the holidays with two branded programming events. Invoking chills and thrills, the ‘13 Nights of Halloween’ tent pole programming event airs annually from October 19th through the 31st. Also, ABC Family is home to “25 Days of Christmas” – the biggest programming event on cable (December 1-25). The network celebrates the season with more than 200 hours of holiday-themed entertainment for the whole family.
