Disney Junior, part of Disney Channels Worldwide, is a global television and online brand expressly for kids age 2-7. Disney Junior invites mom and dad to join their child in the Disney experience of magical, musical and heartfelt stories and characters, both classic and new, while incorporating specific learning and development themes designed for young children.

Reach:
The daily Disney Junior programming block, a brand launched in February 2011, is available on Disney Channel in more than 98 million U.S. homes. The 24-hour Disney Junior channel, launched in March 2012, has secured affiliate agreements that extend its reach to over 60 million U.S. homes. Combined U.S. and internationally, Disney Junior blocks and channels are available in 34 languages and 140 countries/territories* in 393 million households.

Performance:
In its second year, Disney Junior, the daily programming block for kids age 2-7 on Disney Channel, posted the network's biggest yearly audience in the daypart in Total Viewers, Kids 2-5, Girls 2-5 and Women 18-49.

"Doc McStuffins" ranked as cable TV's #1 series of 2012 among Kids 2-5, Girls 2-5 and Boys 2-5 – a network first. The animated TV movie "Sofia the First: Once Upon a Princess" was the #1 TV telecast of 2012 among preschoolers and the #1 preschooler telecast in Total Viewers and Women 18-49 – also seminal accomplishments. "Sofia the First: Once Upon a Princess" was the #1 telecast in cable TV history in Kids 2-5 and Girls 2-5, and #1 preschooler cable TV telecast ever in Total Viewers and Women 18-49.

"Jake and the Never Land Pirates" and "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse" were Top 3 contenders in Kids 2-5 and Boys 2-5, giving Disney Channel the Top 3 cable TV series in the demos for the first time in the network's history.

For January and February 2013, the new series "Sofia the First" was the #1 cable TV series among Kids, Girls and Boys 2-5 and the #1 preschooler cable TV series in Total Viewers and Women 18-49.

Programming:
Disney Junior original series include "Sofia the First," "Doc McStuffins," the Annie Award-winning "Jake and the Never Land Pirates" and the Emmy-nominated "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse." Additional programming includes "Little Einsteins," "Handy Manny," "Jungle Junction" and "Special Agent Oso."
Disney Junior's acclaimed short-form series include "A Poem Is…," designed to introduce children to the beauty of a poem, and "Minnie's Bow-Toons," which follows Minnie Mouse and her pal Daisy as they run Minnie's Bow-Tique, a specialty shop stocked only with colorful bows and bowties. Additional short-form series include "Mickey Mousekersize," "Special Agent Oso: Three Healthy Steps," "Tasty Time with ZeFronk" and "Dance-A-Lot Robot," all part of Disney's Magic of Healthy Living initiative encouraging healthier lifestyles for kids through content designed to get kids and families up and moving and eating healthier.
